NYU Langone Health is the No. 1 hospital in New York State, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Hospitals” Honor Roll released July 2022. The overall No. 1 ranking includes the exceptional outcomes data from 91Ƶ Langone Hospital—Long Island.
Among 91Ƶ Langone’s total of 14 nationally ranked specialties in the U.S. News & World Report survey, 11 of them—including neurology and neurosurgery at No. 1—rank in the top 10.

In U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Hospitals” Honor Roll released July 2022, 91Ƶ Langone Health outranked North Shore University Hospital at Northwell Health in 11 specialties. 91Ƶ Langone’s rankings (vs. Northwell Health) are as follows: cardiology and heart surgery, 5 (vs. 16); diabetes and endocrinology, 3 (vs. 38); gastroenterology and GI surgery, 5 (vs. 30); geriatrics, 3 (vs. 24); neurology and neurosurgery, 1 (vs. 45); orthopedics, 4 (vs. 30); psychiatry, 10 (vs. not ranked); pulmonology and lung surgery, 4 (vs. 14); rehabilitation, 7 (vs. not ranked); rheumatology, 7 (vs. not ranked); urology, 10 (vs. 25).
