As a women's health nurse practitioner and the co-director of the Center for Midlife and Menopause at 91����Ƶ Langone, my mission is to empower women to understand their bodies, make informed decisions, and enhance their well-being during the menopausal transition and beyond. Prior to my role as a nurse practitioner, I worked extensively as a community educator, where I cultivated a firm belief that clear, accessible education is vital for women to understand their health and confidently advocate for themselves.

With over two decades of experience in women’s health, including my tenure at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center specializing in gynecologic oncology, hereditary cancer risk, and sexual medicine, I possess a comprehensive understanding of how menopause impacts long-term health, survivorship, and overall quality of life. My clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of concerns including perimenopause, menopause, sexual dysfunction, low libido, painful intercourse, and hormone-related symptoms. Committed to offering clear, evidence-based guidance, I tailor both hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options according to the unique needs and goals of each patient.

I hold nursing degrees from Columbia University and a PhD in nursing from Seton Hall University, where my research concentrated on the experiences of genetic testing among Latinas with BRCA mutations. At this pivotal stage in my career, my focus is on improving women’s quality of life and fostering a sense of ease during midlife transitions. My aspiration is to help women not only navigate menopause with confidence but also to thrive and genuinely enjoy this enriching chapter of their lives.
