As a clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center–New Jersey at 91����Ƶ Langone, I provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to my patients. My fascination with psychology began in high school, where I was intrigued by the intricate ways our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors shape our identities. This curiosity deepened during my college years through various clinical experiences, which solidified my passion for clinical and school psychology.

I specialize in treatments such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). With more than a decade of experience, I have had the privilege of working extensively with children and families dealing with conditions like disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD), major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

In addition to my extensive experience, I hold the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician ™ credential, a designation held by only a small number of clinicians. This certification demonstrates my ability to deliver DBT with the highest level of fidelity. I am also trained in several adaptations of DBT for diverse clinical populations, which allows me to provide highly tailored treatment to meet the unique needs of the youth and families I work with.

Since the onset of my graduate career, I have been committed to providing therapeutic services in both Spanish and English, which culminated in the coordination and creation of the first Comprehensive Spanish Adolescent DBT Program in New Jersey. My research focus lies in exploring DBT adaptations for Spanish-speaking populations, and I am actively engaged in advancing knowledge in this area, contributing to the ongoing development of evidence-based practices tailored to these communities.

Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of involving caregivers in the treatment process. I believe that therapy is most effective when families are active participants, and I strive to create therapeutic environments where this collaboration can thrive.
