As a licensed clinical psychologist at 91����Ƶ Langone, I am passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges and flourish in their lives. My journey into psychology began during my undergraduate studies when I enrolled in a course about wellbeing and happiness. I was captivated by the idea that psychological and philosophical questions could have real-world applications, particularly in clinical work. This passion for understanding the human mind and promoting wellbeing led me to pursue a career in psychology.

I believe that every individual deserves a safe and nonjudgmental space, like therapy, to explore their internal worlds and external experiences. My specialties include treating trauma-related disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use issues, and relationship concerns. My training encompasses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, existential, multicultural, and evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and emotion-focused therapy (EFT). In practice, I work collaboratively with patients to create tailored treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and based on each individual’s unique needs and circumstances. For those seeking trauma-informed care, I am a certified provider for cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and prolonged exposure (PE). I am also working towards becoming a certified provider for written exposure therapy (WET), another form of trauma-focused therapy.

I practice within 91����Ƶ Psychiatry Associates and provide individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. Additionally, I am deeply committed to my work within the Military Family Center at 91����Ƶ Langone, a pro-bono mental health clinic for military personnel, veterans, and their families. My approach to care is holistic, and being a part of 91����Ƶ Langone allows me to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients.
