Medicine appealed to me because I enjoy helping people—and it is intellectually challenging. Doctors have to be detectives and recognize the uncommon conditions we may have learned about but do not see frequently.

At 91����Ƶ Langone Slope Pediatrics and 91����Ƶ Langone Medical Associates—Greenpoint, I provide well-child visits and vaccinations. I am trained in integrative medicine, so I can recommend complementary therapies, such as dietary changes and supplements, for gastrointestinal disorders and conditions such as obesity, asthma, eczema, colic, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

I also offer lactation support and provide nutritional counseling for breastfeeding mothers. When the parent of one of my patients is expecting another baby, I can provide counseling about how to eat healthfully and avoid harmful substances during pregnancy.

I partner with parents to help them make the best decisions for their child’s health. I am open to new approaches to treatment, and my philosophy is “less is more.” When appropriate, I recommend lifestyle changes before prescribing medication.

I love to watch my patients grow and to develop a relationship with them and their parents.
